Beschreibung

Wood has accompanied people ever since they began making tools. It is one of the oldest materials there is and still one of the most versatile: strong yet light, it can be sawn, planed, chiselled, bent and glued, and it often grows more beautiful with age. Wood is also renewable, and from responsibly managed forests it is a sustainable material that stores carbon for the long term. No two boards are alike: grain, colour and scent make every piece one of a kind. Anyone who works with wood themselves learns to read it and to understand why it behaves the way it does. This workshop leaves time for exactly that: for your own project, your own questions and the material itself.
Kursinhalt

Guided by our experienced studio manager, you work on your own projects, with the equipment of a fully outfitted professional woodshop at your disposal. Once your project has been discussed, you can order the material through KursWerkstatt.

The workshop takes place weekly on Thursday evenings. It comprises ten evenings; the shorter workshop in July comprises five evenings.
Hinweise

Drinks and coffee are provided.

Times and location: Each evening session runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at KursWerkstatt München, Haager Straße 9, 4th floor, 81671 Munich.

Good to know: If you can't make it after all, you can send a substitute participant free of charge at any time. If you cancel up to 31 days before the workshop starts, we charge only 5% of the workshop fee; after that, the full fee is due. Workshop bookings are binding; there is no right of withdrawal.
