Beschreibung

Wood can be worked in many ways, but almost everything starts with the same fundamentals: sharp tools, clean marking out and a feel for how the material behaves. Saw, chisel and plane have been part of every workshop for centuries, and the way they are handled has hardly changed. Anyone who masters them also understands what machines do and why joints hold. Wood is not a uniform material: grain direction, growth rings and moisture determine how it can be cut, planed and joined. The workshop lays the foundation on which all further workshops build.

An introduction to the theory and practice of woodworking.

Hinweise

Material costs are included in the workshop fee.

Times and location: Each workshop day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at KursWerkstatt München, Haager Straße 9, 4th floor, 81671 Munich.

During the workshop we provide water, coffee and fruit. In the afternoon there is also cake.

Good to know: If you can't make it after all, you can send a substitute participant free of charge at any time. If you cancel up to 31 days before the workshop starts, we charge only 5% of the workshop fee; after that, the full fee is due. Workshop bookings are binding; there is no right of withdrawal.
