Beschreibung

Solid wood panels consist of narrow strips of real wood glued together. They are stable, can be worked like solid timber and are available in large formats, which makes it possible to build furniture quickly. With a circular saw and guide rail, a router and dowels, precise cuts are achievable even without a large machine shop. In the workshop you build the KursWerkstatt stool with drawer in alder, a classic that, by founder Roland Heilmann's estimate, around 2,000 participants have built. The techniques carry over to many other pieces of furniture.
Kursinhalt

High-quality hardwood panels make it possible to build all kinds of individual furniture quickly. We teach you the know-how you need, from planning to the finished piece, while building our “KursWerkstatt stool” with a drawer in alder: cutting to size with a circular saw and guide rail, precise doweling, shaped cuts with a jigsaw, template routing with the router, correct sanding with orbital and random orbital sanders, and accurate gluing. With these basics you will be able to build your own individual furniture. Every participant makes a stool.
Hinweise

Material costs are included in the workshop fee.

Times and location: Each workshop day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at KursWerkstatt München, Haager Straße 9, 4th floor, 81671 Munich.

During the workshop we provide water, coffee and fruit. In the afternoon there is also cake.

Good to know: If you can't make it after all, you can send a substitute participant free of charge at any time. If you cancel up to 31 days before the workshop starts, we charge only 5% of the workshop fee; after that, the full fee is due. Workshop bookings are binding; there is no right of withdrawal.
